This Commercial Project for Anchorage based, kid and baby brand Oma + Jo was such an amazing experience! Not only am I a total fan of the clothing, but working with Joleen (the Jo, in Oma + Jo) was such a treat. She designed, and handmade this entire line, all while finishing up her masters degree and defending her thesis. What a season of multi-tasking for her.
Oma + Jo designs and hand makes adorable baby and kid clothing and accessories for teeny adventurers. The autumn/winter line features rompers and peter pan collared tops for the girls, and adorable slacks and trapper hats for the boys. There are a number of bonnets, sweaters, tops and accessories available as well. If you see something you like in this post, head over to their shop and grab some goodies for your teeny adventurer!
This project was split up into three separate components. It included a product session for the online shop, a lifestyle session for a real world look at the line, and a catalog session, to provide a clean, season-neutral backdrop.
The models are my employees, and they work for cookies. Margot, the sweet girl with the pig tails is my daughter, and the chubby-cheeked little man is my son Woodrow. They were such great little helpers, and I’m so glad they’re fine with sugary paychecks.
